The most unique way to see the beautiful and spooky downtown Savannah is in a converted hearse. A REAL hearse that transported thousands of the Dearly Departed on their Last Ride.

You can't spell funeral without FUN!

This is a fun and entertaining tour, or, as we like to call it, a Viewing. These are REAL hearses used in 1000s of funerals and are modified to hold 8 live bodies.

We tell stories about Savannah’s ghosts while showing you our remarkable Historic District. We keep it light and family-friendly. However, we do tell tales of the paranormal. You might even see something paranormal! Yes, we have occasionally seen a ghost DURING a Viewing.

Since you’ll be riding in a hearse that’s been converted to transport live bodies, it's a little tight. Basically, it's a convertible hearse with a roof; the seats are open-air, and it has no heat or AC.

Private Viewings for less than 8 bodies

Each of our hearses seats up to 8 live bodies. You may be mixed with other Mourners. If your party is less than 8, and you want to have the whole hearse for yourself, simply book your group as a party of 8.

Viewings for MORE than 8 bodies

We can accommodate larger groups and pick you up at the same time and place. Due to city ordinances, you will get separate tours. If you want your multiple hearses to only contain your party, book in multiples of 8.

Please dress for the weather.

We conduct our Viewings in rain or clear skies. Occasionally, for safety reasons, we do cancel if weather conditions are unsafe. Our drivers have the final call on canceling or stopping a viewing because of unsafe weather.

We will inform anyone affected by a weather cancellation as soon as possible. We’ll happily reschedule or provide a refund.

Joining a friend that already booked

PLEASE let us know if you want to join a friend on a Viewing already booked; you must call us to let us know. We'll do all we can to try to put you with them.

The easiest way to join someone else's group is to have them call us and add you to their reservation.

Not enough Mourners.

It would be disrespectful to the Dearly Departed to have a Funeral with no Mourners; if we don't have enough Mourners for a given Viewing, we reserve the right to cancel that Viewing. We will happily reschedule anyone affected at no additional cost, availability permitting, or refund you. We will notify anyone affected via e-mail or text no later than 2 hours prior to the Viewing in question.
